Profile No. 1 (visible)

A visible profile no. 1 is used to fasten stretched ceilings of PVC film on walls or other vertical surfaces. Mounting distance between rawplugs should be 8-10cm. The visible part is matte and its width is 26mm. For fastening onto such profile a ceiling with visible harpoons is used. There is no need to use a covering strip. The minimum ceiling height loss is 3 cm. Material: PVC (plastic). Available panel length is 3m.

 
 
 
 
PVC Wall Profile No. 2 (invisible)

Profile no. 2 is the most popular of all our profiles. It is used to fasten stretched ceilings on a wall or any other vertical surface. It can be adjusted to the unevenness of a wall. The optimal fastening distance for rawplugs is about 10cm. This profile may be ordered in the shape of evenly bent sections with their radius less than 200mm. The minimum ceiling height loss is 2.5cm. Material: PVC (plastic). Available length of panels: 3m. The distance between the wall and the ceiling canvas is covered with covering strip.

 
 
 
 
PVC Wall Profile No. 2 G (invisible)

Profile no. 2 G is almost the same as profile no. 2, but it has a shorter front wall. The connection between the wall and the stretch ceiling is not covered with covering strip, but remains open (countersunk). Available panel length: 3m.

 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 3 (ceiling profile)

Profile no. 3 is used to fasten the canvas to the load-carrying part of the actual ceiling or other horizontal surfaces. The minimum ceiling height loss is 2cm. The connection between the wall and the stretch ceiling is covered with covering strip. Available panel length is 2.5m.

 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 4 (universal profile)

Profile no. 4 is used to fasten the canvas to any surface (vertical and horizontal). This profile is a very stable and the mounting distance between the rawplugs should be no more than 50 cm. The minimum ceiling height loss is 3cm. The connection between the wall and the stretch ceiling is covered with covering strip. Available panel length is 2.5m.

 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 4 G (anodixed)

Profile no. 4G is almost the same as profile no. 4, gut it has a shorter front wall. The connection between the wall and the stretch ceiling is not covered with covering strip, but remains open (countersunk). Anodized aluminum is corrosion resistant and can be used in premises with high humidity. Available panel length: 2.5m.

 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 5 (wall profile)

Profile no. 5 is used to fasten a ceiling on a wall or any other vertical surfaces. It cannot be adjusted to all unevennesses of a wall. The fastening distance for rawplugs is 15-20 cm. The minimum loss of ceiling height is 3.5 cm. The connection between the wall and the stretch ceiling is covered with covering strip. Available panel length is 2.5 m.

 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 6 (spacer profile)

Profile no. 6 is used to connect two stretch ceiling canvases when getting around columns or in large spaces. The minimum ceiling height loss is 2 cm. The connection between the wall and the stretch ceiling is covered with covering strip. Available panel length is 2.5m.

 
 
 
 
Double Profile No. 9

Double aluminum profile no. 9 is designed to fasten two stretch ceiling canvases one over the other. A transparent PVC film is usually placed in the upper part of the profile, a semi-transparent and light-diffusing film – in the lower part of the profile. The upper protecting film prevents small parts (dust, the remains of an old ceiling, insects and others) from penetrating, because such parts may be visible under light through the canvas of the main ceiling canvas. Aluminum Profile No. 8 (8N) for Multilevel Constructions

Profile no. 8 (8N) is used to connect canvases of a stretch ceiling when mounting multilevel and (or) curved ceilings. Profile no. 8 helps to fasten two canvases. It is specifically used to get round beams and other ceiling and wall objects that stand out.
The profile consists of two parts – a fastening profile itself and a cover.

 
 
 
 

Profile no. 8N has saw-cuts on the back side, which make it possible for a profile to bend evenly depending on the mounting surface. Distance between the cuts is 15mm. Available panel length is 2.5m.
 
 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 16 (16N) (construction profile)

Profile no. 16 is used for designing multilevel and (or) curved (profile no. 16N) ceilings and is made of aluminum. Available panel length is 2.5m.

Profile Corner Section No. 8RV / RN and Profile Construction No. 16 RV / RN

For quick fastening of multilevel and (or) curved ceilings Saros Design offers ready-made curved and (or) multilevel constructions made of corner sections. They serve as load carrying structures in a stretch ceiling construction.
Set consists of:
bracket N: 8 RV / RN (upper construction element)
construction profile no. 16 RV / RN (lower construction element)
Minimum bending radius is 700mm, maximum radius is 5 000mm. It can be bent both outwards and inwards.
We recommend the use of shelf brackets to connect a corner and construction profile and to fasten them to the main ceiling.

 
 
 
 
Aluminum Profile No. 18 (spacer profile)

Spacer aluminum profile no. 18 is used to connect two stretch ceiling canvases when creating a large ceiling. The use of this profile makes the connection invisible. The minimum ceiling height loss is 2cm. Available panel length is 2.5m.
